Dr. Julia Pascal

Julia Pascal is a London playwright, theatre director and scholar whose works have mainly focused on Jewish history. These have been staged in Europe and the USA. Published texts include Theresa, A Dead Woman On Holiday, The Dybbuk, The Yiddish Queen Lear, Woman In The Moon, St Joan, Year Zero. The latest volume Political Plays includes Broken English, Honeypot, Nineveh and Woman On The Bridge.


Julia received a Fellowship from The National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts and, after her doctorate in 2016 from the University of York, she became a Research Fellow at King’s College, London University.
