Stephen Tiller

Stephen Tiller is a RADA-trained actor, activist, writer, director and producer of theatre and site-specific, ‘guerrilla’ opera. As Artistic Director of OperaMachine, he made two productions of Gian Carlo Menotti’s powerful piece The Consul, premiering at a derelict found space in Shoreditch, London and a year later a 25 performance run with a chorus of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. This Spring another iteration of the work took place at Tate Modern.

 

His other work has successfully toured in the UK and abroad, including in Paris, Thessalonica, Belgrade and Gaza, and at the Tottori International Theatre Festival, Japan.

Stephen is also a teacher, workshop leader and facilitator.
